Sports Update

Malik Olukhale 

Congratulations to Malik, who has been named in the Australian U17 National Team squad for a training camp to be held in Canberra. Well done Malik!

Sam Hudson

Congratulations to Sam who competed in the Under 19 Victorian State Championships for track cycling in November. Sam won bronze medals in both State Omnium and Scratch race run by Auscycling at Darebin International Sports Centre. He is hoping to make the Victorian team to compete at Nationals in March next year. Well done Sam!

Year 8 Hockey Girls 

The Year 8 Girls' Hockey team successfully navigated their way through to the regional finals. We held some after school training sessions and were well prepared with a key focus on positional play, accurate passing and maintaining possession. Our team won their first three games at the regional finals and played Norrthcote HS in the grand final. The team displayed great passion and resilience and were unlucky to concede a goal against the run of play. All team members put in a 100% effort with the Regional Runner Up Pennant now proudly displayed outside the gymnasium. Our intermediate team is well placed to do very well in 2026.

Violet Avotins has also been selected in the Victorian u14G Indoor Hockey team to play in the national titles in Goulburn in January 2026 - Congratulations Violet!
