Italian Visit from Brunwick South Primary School

On Friday afternoon on the 14th of November we welcomed the grade 6 cohort from Brunswick South for a meet and greet with our current Year 11 Italian students.

Given that it was exam period and we didn't have access to our Italian classroom, we held the session in the canteen and ventured out into the sunshine and courtyard Italian style 'all'aperto'.  

Our Year 11 students introduced themselves in Italian and spoke about their interests and subjects as well as how long they have been studying Italian. They then broke off into smaller groups and sat with the students and had a cultural exchange asking the primary students questions about themselves in Italian, ovviamente!

To finish off they shared some refreshments biscotti and San Pellegrino drinks.

There was a wonderful vibe! Lots of smiles, laughter and Italian heard in the sunshine.
