Good News!

As a successful applicant, we received a grant from Bank First for $2,000. The library now has two beautiful book spinners. These provide a great way to promote collections of fiction. Importantly, these will enhance the collection of targeted fiction for those experiencing reading challenges.

Reading Spaces @ PRSC

Students are encouraged to check out the Reading Spaces across the Year 7, 8 and 9 areas. There is an opportunity to chill with a new book as more new reads were added by the library. Many stories await a reading date with students.

These great book nooks offer a wide range of materials that appeal to and support the needs of students with different interests and abilities.

White Noise

Medici Heist

Story Lines writing competition 2024

Closes Sunday 22 September

If you live, learn, work or play in the City of Kingston, you are eligible to enter our Story Lines writing competition for the chance to win fabulous prizes and have your story published.

The age categories include, 11 to 13 years and 14 to 16 years.

3 prizes will be awarded per age group. Prizes include Westfield vouchers and winners will be published in our 2024 Story Lines book.

Winners will be announced on Friday 25 October.

FrankTALK with Ken Piesse

Aus\Sit down with Australia’s most published living author with a rare passion for cricket and football. Ken Piesse is Melbourne sporting royalty, the expert’s expert, with a lifetime in Australia’s two favourite sports, AFL and cricket.

Few have witnessed more Grand Finals and Test matches around the world. Ken will be chatting about his memoir, Living The Dream: Inspirations and Insights - a tribute to a passionate life for all things sports.

This is a FREE event however bookings are essential due to limited places.
