Careers Discovery Day

Science Excursion

On Tuesday April 28, a group of year 9s, 10s and 11s went to the Science Gallery Melbourne to have a careers discovery day.

Students got to see the dental hospital and architecture wards of the University of Melbourne, as well as sitting face-to-face with industry experts to discuss courses, careers and to just get advice on how to decide on careers. Students then attended a live forum of people who moved through different pathways, such as coding, music, art etc, to see what their journeys through VCE and university were like. They heard advice on how to navigate through the difficulties of knowing what the right pathway to take in life is.

Our students were incredible: on the tram, on the bus, sitting and waiting for the presenters, or eating lunch in the open spaces. Our students were respectful, kind and safe throughout the entire excursion.
