Attitudes to School Survey

We would like to inform families and students that our annual Attitudes to School Survey began on Wednesday May 20.

This state-wide survey provides students with an important opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences around school life. It gathers valuable feedback on areas such as student engagement, wellbeing, learning, relationships and school climate.

Why is the survey important? The insights from the survey directly inform our school planning and improvement strategies. We use this data to guide how we design and refine programs, supports and learning experiences for our students. Student voice plays a vital role in helping us to ensure that every student feels safe, supported and engaged.

Who will participate? Students will complete the survey during class time, under teacher supervision. It is an online survey and takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete.

Privacy, anonymity and confidentiality. The survey is completely anonymous. Students cannot be identified through their responses, and all data is reported in group summaries only. This ensures that students can provide honest and open feedback.

How families can support. We encourage parents and carers to speak with their children about the survey and the importance of providing thoughtful and genuine responses. Honest feedback helps us to better understand student experiences and continue to improve our school.

We value student voice highly and appreciate your support in making this process a success. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
