 MIDDLE SCHOOL MAY REPORT 2026

As we get stuck into our Term 2 work, we start to think about exams and work experience, also remembering that semester 1 ends at the end of week 8.

The elective subjects are well and truly in full swing, the Food Tech classes cooking up a storm, while a number of students are creating some excellent artworks. The Year 9 Drama class is building their performance skills in anticipation of their short play performances in Week 7.

All Middle School students have exams just around the corner. The focus is on our students experiencing what it is like to sit and study for exams, in anticipation of those they will take on in their senior years. Year 10s are also in the last stages of finalising their work experience placements.

We have seen a number of different teams go out for inter school sports – basketball, soccer, badminton and AFL. The students’ enthusiasm for all things athletic has been fantastic and we want to thank all of the sport teachers for giving up time to train and coach the kids on the day.

Our Outdoor Ed and Advance programs have continued to provide our students with opportunities to experience activities out in the community. Surfing, Advance Camp and Indoor Rock Climbing were some of the experiences on offer.
