Sacred Heart Day Concert

We are excited to announce that our Sacred Heart Day celebrations will once again feature a student talent show!  Students are encouraged to apply to audition - whether your passion is music, dance, magic, or any other hidden talent, we'd love to have you involved.  More details on how to apply will be shared soon, so start thinking about what you'd like to showcase!Performing Arts

Hamilton Eisteddfod

The Hamilton Eisteddfod is just around the corner, and Monivae will be well represented over the next two weeks.  The music program runs from 1–5 June, with the dance program following the week of 9–14 June.

We have a fantastic group of students entered this year, with many competing in solos, duets, and dance sections.  Alongside our individual performers, we also have 11 ensembles entered: the Year 7 Concert Band, five Year 7 small groups, Year 10 Studio Band, VET Music Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Choir.

The Eisteddfod is a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their talents, gain performance experience, and hear some outstanding musicians and see dancers from other schools across the region.  We wish all of our performers and dancers the very best over the coming two weeks - we are proud of each and every one of you!

Creative Arts Show - Wednesday, 10 June

Mark your calendars!  Our Creative Arts Show takes place on Wednesday, 10 June.  Come along to browse student artwork, hear our ensembles perform and get a glimpse of the creative work happening in our Year 7–9 Drama classes.  It promises to be a wonderful evening celebrating the talent and creativity of our students - we hope to see you there!
