Year 10 Social

On Thursday 7 September the Year 10 Marian College Social took place, an event that everyone had been patiently waiting weeks and weeks to arrive. However, the social was not complete without the boys; we were joined by the lovely all boys school Emmanuel College in Altona.

It was held in the Marian College Gym which had been beautifully decorated beforehand by the student leaders from both schools. The evening consisted of a lot of music and dancing, photos, meeting new people and enjoying a supper of pizza and soft drink. It was a great opportunity to socialize with friends, make new friends and make lasting memories. The Year 10 Social was definitely a night that will never be forgotten! 

We got along really well with the boys from Emmanuel College, and mixed quite easily too considering it was a new thing for each and everyone of us. The DJ, Steve and his music was one of the highlights of the night and for the 2 and a half hours of the Social there was non stop dancing from the students and also, the teachers. 

The night flew past so quickly, but it was unquestionably filled with lots of laughter, amusement and contentment.

We thank Ms Scott, Marian College Year Level Leader and Ms Power, Emmanuel College Year Level Leader, the Year 10 students from the Social committee, and both Marian and Emmanuel College for putting all their time and effort into this social, making it a night to remember!
