How long have you been at Marian: 

Been at Marian College for – almost 5 years

Tell us a little about your life outside of teaching/working? Eg. Family, hobbies. Passions 

Video games, music and the latest gadgets and gizmos keep me busy when I’m not with my family.

How did you end up teaching/ working at Marian College?

The previous Tech left and they needed a replacement. I applied and got the job at the start of the following year.

What do you like most about teaching/working at Marian College?

There’s always something new to fix… or that breaks and I fix again.

What are the biggest challenges facing teachers today?

Laptops just aren’t as good as they used to be!

What are the biggest challenges facing teenage girls today?

Social media is everywhere, especially when you don’t want it to be.

Favourite food & drink?

KFC with Mountain Dew… or Pizza.. depends on the day of the week.

Favourite holiday destination?

Wherever there is a quiet room with a big TV.

Favourite TV show & Movie?

Anything with giant robots or spaceships. Or both??

If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?

I’m not a teacher, but to turn the question around, if I WAS a teacher, I would probably like to teach IT, Game development or a mix of STEM and Science.
