Athletics Carnival

The John Paul II Athletics Carnival was a fantastic day filled with energy, determination, and plenty of smiles. Despite the strong winds, nothing could dampen the spirit of our students, who all participated with enthusiasm and had a go in every event. From sprints and relays to vortex throws and long jump, it was wonderful to see students giving their best effort and supporting their peers throughout the day.

A crowd favourite was definitely the staff sack race, which provided plenty of laughter and excitement to finish off the carnival. It was great to see our teachers getting involved and adding a bit of fun competition to the program!

We were also delighted to have so many parents, carers, and families come along to cheer on the students — your presence helped create such a positive and community-focused atmosphere. A big thank you as well to the MacKillop Catholic College and Bayview High School students who assisted throughout the day.

Congratulations to all students selected to represent John Paul II at the Interschool Athletics Carnival this Friday — we are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing your continued success!
