Our Kinder students have been busy learning all about animals as we prepare for our exciting upcoming trip to the zoo!

Throughout the past few weeks, the children have explored different animals, they’ve enjoyed sharing what they already know, asking thoughtful questions, and finding out new facts about how animals live, eat, and move.

As part of our learning, the children completed some art activities, including colouring in pictures of zookeepers. This activity encouraged them to think about how zookeepers care for animal by providing food, clean water, shelter, and love.

It’s been wonderful to see how engaged and curious everyone has been. Our zoo visit will be a fantastic opportunity to see the animals up close and connect what we’ve learnt in the classroom to the real world. We can’t wait to continue our learning adventure at the zoo!
