A group of our Environment Pillar leaders are working towards an 'upgrade' of the shipping container at the chicken coop and garden shed. They are very keen to hear from anyone in our school community who may be able to support them with ideas and techniques that will transform this space into a mural that showcases the potential biodiversity of our school grounds.

Every Thursday, the 'Waste and Create' group from KGT, collect and emptly the compost and recycling bins in our school. Our group have noticed that our school has improved a lot with separating recycling, compost and normal waste. We are also more carefull with using paper, resulting in less recycling waste. In the last few weeks all our recycling fit in the wheely bins and we haven't needed the paper container emptied. This is not only good for the environment, it is saving our school money! Keep up the good work everyone!!

We now have at least three families who regulalry participate in our KGT sessions. Last week there was a focus on the vegetable garden beds and the Bug Hotel.
