In the classroom...
A big well done and thank you for class concerts
We just finished our class concerts and I would like to say how amazing and talented our BPPS students are! I thoroughly enjoyed the performances, and I know students did too. It's not easy going on stage to perform, but it was great to see how supportive and encouraging our BPPS students are, which really cultivalted a safe and enjoyable environment for students to get up on stage and give it a try.
Please enjoy some photos from the performances in week 7:

National Songwriting Competition
Entries are open for the Australian Children's Music Foundation (ACMF) 2025 National songwriting competition! This competition is a great opportunity for students to be creative and to showcase their songs to an audience. I will be talking to students during Performing Arts lessons about the competition, but please discuss the competition with your child at home if you think your child will be interested.
Please see relevant information including prizes, past winners and terms and conditions about the competition in this link: https://acmf.com.au/national-songwriting-competition/
If your child is interested in participating, please email the following to zoe.tsai@education.vic.gov.au by 9th September 2025:
- A pdf file of your child's song lyrics
- A mp3 or m4a file of your child's song recording
- Your child's full name and year level
