End of Year Wrap Up!

To our wonderful students and families,

Can you believe it? We’ve officially reached the end of our 2025 school adventure!

To our students: I am so incredibly proud of you. I’ve watched you solve tricky math problems, write amazing stories, score goals on the oval, and - most importantly - be kind to one another. Whether you finally mastered your times tables or made a new friend at play time, you have grown so much since January. You are the heart and soul of our school, and you make me smile every single day!

In my first full year as Principal at CSPS, I have certainly experienced some amazing firsts: The Fiesta and Mercado, our STOMP performances, our amazing PFA fundraising, and I have been so proud of the work of our staff, really developing their skills in order to provide quality learning opportunities for our students.  Everyone has worked so hard this year!

To our families: Thank you for being our partners in this journey. From cheering at sports days to helping with homework, your support makes everything we do possible.

To our Year 6 graduates: You are ready for your next big chapter! As you head off to high school in 2026, remember to stay curious, be brave, and always be yourself. We will miss you!

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our amazing PFA, Breakfast Club and School Council volunteers.  The work you have all put in this year has been impactful and will support students moving forward.  We say goodbye to Jackie and Jess, our super PFA co-presidents.  Your work over the past years to support our school and provide things for our students that they otherwise would not have, has been incredible.  You will be very much missed!  Lyn and your Breakfast Club crew - you are amazing.  Twice a week you have supported all of our families with breakfast, as well as some fun special mornings with Hot Cross Buns and much more.

We say goodbye to some of our incredible School Council elected members.  I would like to thank John Barbaressos for his leadership as School Council president.  I will wait to announce the other positions and to thank any other outgoing members of School Council, as you never know- they may run again for another term next year!

Now, it’s time for some summer fun. I hope your break is filled with ice cream, sunshine, favorite books, and lots of play. Stay safe, have wonderful adventures, and we can’t wait to see your smiling faces back here in the new year.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

We hope Santa brings you something nice.

Happy Holidays!

From Cate, Karen & Ash
