Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

As the academic year draws to a close, I wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your commitment and support of the College. Your partnership is invaluable, and we are grateful for all we have achieved together this year.

 

May you and your families enjoy a blessed and Holy Christmas. We pray the Lord keeps you safe and grants you a restful and joyful holiday period.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We are excited to announce that the College will continue its significant growth next year as we prepare to welcome our third Year 7 cohort. The College will officially operate as a Year 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 Co-educational Catholic College in 2026, marking another exciting milestone in our development. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning students.

Staff Farewells

As a College we would like to acknowledge a number of the teaching staff who we will be farewelling at the end of the year. We also thank them for their wonderful service and contribution made to St Aloysius College.

 

Jennifer Ming - Instructional Leader of Science

We extend our warmest congratulations to Mrs Jennifer Ming on her successful appointment as the Head of Curriculum at St John Bosco College, Engadine, commencing in 2026. Mrs Ming has been an invaluable member of our community, and while we will certainly miss her contributions, we are incredibly proud of her achievement. We wish her every success and fulfillment in this exciting new leadership role.

 

Olivia Dawson - College Counsellor

We wish a heartfelt farewell to our dedicated College Counsellor, Olivia Dawson. Olivia has been an exceptional colleague and a deeply caring support for our students and their families. Her kind approach and commitment to fostering a supportive environment have made a true difference in the lives of many here at our College. As Olivia prepares for her move to the Central Coast of NSW, we send her our deepest gratitude and best wishes for a wonderful and fulfilling new chapter.

 

Rae Ting - Learning Support Officer

We extend our sincere gratitude to Rae Ting, Learning Support Officer at St Aloysius College, for her outstanding service to our Diverse Learning Department and her impactful work with students across the College

 

Anna Jordanov - Lasaliian Youth Minister

We would like to formally recognize and thank Anna Jordanov, Lasallian Youth Minister, for her exemplary work and unwavering commitment to fostering the growth and development of the students at our College.

Principal’s Address - End of Year Awards Ceremony

HSC Morning Tea

In recognition and celebration of the Class of 2025, Year 12 students are invited to return to St Aloysius Cronulla for the ‘HSC Morning Tea’ from 10.30am - 11.15am on Thursday, 18 December.  

Key Dates for the beginning of 2026 

Thursday, 29 January 

  • Years 7 and 11 students (+ Year 12 Leaders) return to school.

 

Friday, 30 January

  • Years 8, 9 and 12 students return to school.

 

Tuesday, 3 February

  • 9.30am - 11.15am: Opening Mass / Welcome to Year 7 / Year 12 Awards ceremony - St Aloysius Parish Cronulla.

 

Once again, I wish every family a safe, peaceful, and joyful Christmas, and a Happy New Year. We eagerly await the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our departing Year 12 class upon the release of their HSC results

 

Furthermore, we are thrilled to be preparing to welcome our new Year 7 cohort to the growing St Aloysius College Cronulla community at the start of 2026. May you have a restful holiday.
