Have a Happy and Holy Christmas

Gallery Image

A beautiful quote about Christmas I once heard was “Christmas my child, is love in action” - Dale Evans. I think this quote sums up why Christmas is so important and special. It is a time when the world is that little bit kinder, more joyous and loving - reflective of a time when God’s love became action in the form of the baby Jesus.

I hope all our families have a wonderful Christmas filled with love and quality time with friends and family. My best wishes to each of you for a very happy end to the year and successful year in 2026.

Celebrating Student Success

Gallery Image

While we are acutely aware of what is happening within our school and our SCS system regarding our student’s successes, we don’t always know what is happening in the wider community - but we want to! To help facilitate our College sharing the wider success stories of our students, staff and community we are adding a google form link to our Compass Page. This link will be found under the STAR icon and will be titled - Sharing Success Form. We invite parents, carers and students to complete the form when a student achieves in a field outside of the College. Whether this be sport, drama, film, charity, or any field, we want to share that success!

Parent Workshops 2026

In Term 1 we will be welcoming Dr Jaimie Northam, Clinical Psychologist from Western Sydney University, to give a talk on recognising signs of mental health distress in adolescents.

In Term 2 we will be welcoming members of The Resilience Project team to work with parents and carers about getting the most out of the program with their children by developing common language and strategies across school and home.

Changes to Uniform Code for 2026

Please find the attached revised uniform code for 2026. While this is largely the same as 2025 there are a few minor changes.

  • Rings and Bracelets will no longer be allowed to be worn as part of the College uniform.
    • Reasoning - Students are continually wearing more than the allowed amount of jewellery. We have spoken to the student body on numerous occasions and tried other methods such as confiscation but students continue to breach the requirements. Therefore no rings or bracelets will be allowed in 2026.
  • School shoes must be a proper lace up hard leather school shoe
    • Work, health and safety requires our students to wear lace hard leather shoes - leather must cover the instep (top of the foot) and the shoes must have laces. Students can then safely enter speciality rooms such as workshops, labs and kitchens.
  • Skirts must be to the knee
    • This has always been the case at the College but we have specifically named it in the uniform code.
