SENIOR SCHOOL | Update

Dear Years 11 and 12 Parents/Carers and Students
As we reach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to express how genuinely excited I am to be taking on the role of Senior Campus Principal in 2026. After 17 years at Frankston High School, I continue to be incredibly proud of our community, the education and experiences we provide, and the achievements of so many of our young people.
Moving across to the Senior Campus is a wonderful opportunity to work more closely with our fantastic students, staff and families, and to further strengthen our pillars of Excellence, Community and Aspiration in everything we do. I would like to sincerely thank Ms Tiffany Greenhill for her outstanding leadership of the Senior Campus over the past few years. She has done an exceptional job building a strong, caring and high-performing environment, and it is a privilege to be continuing this work.
Early Commencement provided a brilliant start to our 2026 academic year. We began with assemblies welcoming our new Year 11 cohort and reminding them of the opportunities ahead and the high expectations we hold for them as senior students of Frankston High School. We also held a Year 12 assembly, where the Class of 2026 were acknowledged for the excellent reputation they bring with them. We have no doubt they will make the most of every opportunity and leave a legacy they can be proud of. Classes throughout the week were extremely positive, with teachers commenting on the strong engagement and focus shown by students. Thank you to Ms Leanne Milne (Head of Year 11) and Ms Brittany Harvey (Head of Year 12) for their exceptional leadership, and to Ms Victoria Stewart (Year 12 Coordinator) and Ms Wendy Goodman (Year 11 Coordinator) for their ongoing work, care and support. Their efforts have ensured an inspiring and purposeful start for our senior students, and staff head into the break energised about the year ahead.
Thank you also to Ms Kelly Mitchell and Mr Alex Trickovic for their support throughout Early Commencement. We also held our very first VCE VM Information Evening, which was a great success. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from parents and carers and to share more about the VCE-VM pathway and the supports that sit around it. Thank you to Ms Carla Caminiti, Ms Teena Borshoff, Ms Michaeli Lyon and Rhonda Gifford for all their work in organising such a valuable and engaging evening. It was fantastic to connect with families and celebrate this important pathway.
As we head into the holidays, I want to wish all families a safe and restful break and a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Thank you for your ongoing support of our school community. I look forward to an exciting and rewarding 2026 on the Senior Campus.
Mr Cam Heyes
