 Our Community

This term in Humanities, the Prep students have been learning about our community and the important roles people play within it. They have explored our school community and developed an understanding of how different community members help and support us. Throughout the term, students have had the opportunity to meet and learn from a variety of community helpers who visited our classrooms to share their experiences and knowledge. These special visitors included firefighters, police officers, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who helped students gain a deeper appreciation of the diverse contributions people make to our community. Through discussions, activities, and real-life connections, students have developed a greater sense of belonging and understanding of the world around them.
