Popping in to Prep

The Prep students have been working diligently to build their understanding of letter names and sounds. Recently, they have focused on the letters u and v, bringing the total number of letters learned to an impressive 17 (s, m, c, t, g, p, a, o, r, l, d, b, f, h, i, u, v).

Students have also been engaging in “Tap it, Map it” activities to strengthen their reading and writing skills, showing growing confidence in segmenting and recording sounds.

In the lead up to Mother’s Day, students have enjoyed a range of craft and writing activities, thoughtfully reflecting on and celebrating their wonderful mums.
