Year 6 Leading the Way

Over the past couple of weeks, our Year 6 students have continued to engage enthusiastically across all learning areas. 

In Mathematics, they have been exploring cross-sections of 3D objects, developing their spatial awareness and understanding of how shapes can be represented in different ways. This has been supported through problem-solving tasks that have challenged their thinking.

In Religious Education, students have been investigating the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as part of their preparation for Confirmation, reflecting on how these can guide their actions and choices. 

In Inquiry, we have been learning about natural disasters, with a focus on understanding different types and how communities can prepare for them. Students have shown great interest in this topic and have been developing practical knowledge about safety and preparedness.
