Principal Report
Our school is located on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
As we continue through Term 4, I want to highlight the importance of regular school attendance and the difference it makes to every child's learning, friendships and wellbeing.
Every day at school matters. When students attend regularly and arrive on time, they build strong learning habits, feel more connected to their classmates and have the best chance to succeed. Even missing a day here and there can make it harder to keep up with learning and classroom routines.
This Friday, we are excited to celebrate another Show Up to Go Up! Day, encouraging all students to be at school, on time and ready to learn.
Our last event was a fantastic success, with 95.2% of students attending, well above our school goal of 92%. We would love to achieve another great result!
Throughout the day, students will enjoy Golden Ticket opportunities, house and class attendance competitions, a whole-school lunch and a fun assembly Kahoot. The class with the highest attendance percentage will also win an Icy Pole Party!
Most importantly, the day reminds students that showing up helps them learn, grow and belong.
We also understand that attending school can sometimes be difficult. If your child is experiencing challenges with attendance, please speak with their classroom teacher or our leadership team. We are here to listen, offer support and work together to find solutions. Children who are unwell should always stay home to rest and recover.

This Friday, we will also celebrate World Teachers' Day, an opportunity to recognise the incredible work of our dedicated teachers.
Every day, our teachers go above and beyond to create safe, caring and engaging classrooms where students feel supported and inspired to learn. Their patience, kindness, hard work and commitment make a lasting difference in the lives of our children.
I encourage families and students to take a moment this Friday to thank a teacher. A simple message, a kind word or a handwritten note can mean so much.
On behalf of our school community, I sincerely thank all our teachers for everything they do.
