Literacy –
Last week we started a new unit, reading The Grandest Bookshop in the World written by Amelia Mellor. We have enjoyed getting to know the Cole family and the mysterious things that happen in their bookshop. This week, students will begin to plan and write their own narrative, taking inspiration from the book we are reading.
Monster Raffle class baskets -
Reminder – to help support our annual school Family Breakfast Day and R U OK? Day, we are planning a major raffle to be drawn on the morning of Thursday 11th September. In year 5, we are seeking donations from families to put towards our class baskets. Our theme is FITNESS (think powerade, hydrolyte, socks, equipment, etc)
