What's on at our College

Year 11 RE Excursion
On Tuesday 8 April, the Year 11 cohort travelled to visit various religious places of worship.
One group went to a Jewish synagogue, Buddhist temple and Greek Orthodox church. The other group went to a Sikh temple, Mormon church and Hindu temple.
At each venue the students were welcomed by members of the community who explained the rituals and practices of their faith.
The students’ behaviour was exemplary and they all enjoyed the experience and learnt a great deal about the religious lives of people of other religions besides Catholicism.
KIDDO Program
This year, our Kindy to Year 3 students in Physical Education are following the wonderful KIDDO program. This program gives students the skills and confidence to be active for life. It is something fun, something different, something every child, educator and parent can enjoy.
KIDDO supports and nurtures a love of physical activity for your child that will, quite literally, benefit them for life and help them be the best version of themselves.
If you have a spare 3 minutes watch this clip on the positive benefits of physical activity, especially in the early years. https://youtu.be/6kzqHJmF3Rk
In the holidays, if you are looking for some easy ideas to reduce screen time and get the kids active, here are 25 indoor activities and 25 outdoor activities to inspire you! Have a go and come back in Term 2 and tell Mrs Wilkie which ones you have given a go!
Happy healthy holidays everyone!
