Year 6 Camp at Woodman Point: A Journey of Growth and Joy

The Year 6 camp at Woodman Point Recreation Camp became an unforgettable experience of adventure, teamwork, and reflection. Departing from Salvado Catholic College, the students embarked on this journey.

During the camp, students immersed themselves in activities aligned with the College's Christian principles. Experiences strengthened their sense of belonging and connectedness with their peers. They embraced challenges and engaged in activities that pushed them beyond their comfort zones, nurturing personal growth and resilience.

Students participated in an array of exciting activities, including orienteering, rock climbing, raft building, flying fox, archery, and beach-based team-building games. Moments of quiet spirituality were woven into their days, through a prayer service, and Maranatha meditation and a gratitude focus and reflection. A perfect balance of adventure and contemplation.

The camp revealed the students' ability to work collaboratively, overcome obstacles, and embrace the joy of shared experiences and challenges. Whether crafting a raft, conquering rock walls, or soaring on the flying fox, they celebrated each other's triumphs and supported one another through challenges.

By the time they returned, the students carried a sense of accomplishment and countless stories to cherish! The camp left them with lasting memories and a strengthened bond with their peers—a true testament to the power of teamwork, growth, and fun!
