Principals Message

Welcome to nearly Week Eight of Term Three! It is incredible just how quickly the year is passing us by. As I move through our school each day, our classrooms continue to be a wonderful buzz of learning, curiosity, conversation and connection.
Our students continue to grow each and every day—not only in their academic learning, but also in the relationships they build, the confidence they develop and the way they learn to care for themselves and one another. These moments of growth, both big and small, are what make our school such a special place.
Each day at St Mary’s School Rushworth is a blessing. We are fortunate to have families who genuinely value their children’s education and who work in partnership with us to help every child flourish. Thank you for the trust you place in our school and for the many ways you contribute to our community.
At the heart of St Mary’s is also an incredibly dedicated team of teachers and staff. Across every aspect of school life, there are people working together, supporting one another and continually looking for ways to achieve the very best outcomes for our children. Their care, commitment and belief in every student is evident in the learning and relationships we see throughout our school each day.
As we head towards the final weeks of Term Three, I encourage us all to continue to celebrate just how far our children have come. Every day presents another opportunity to learn, to grow, to connect and to care—and what a privilege it is to share that journey together.
Thank you for continuing to make St Mary’s a community where our children are known, valued, supported and encouraged to be the very best they can be.
