National Reconciliation Week 2026 – All In
May 27th - June 3rd, 2026
During Week Six, our school community will engage in learning experiences to acknowledge National Sorry Day and National Reconciliation Week. Students will participate in meaningful and authentic activities to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, perspectives, and achievements.
National Reconciliation Week is held annually from 27th of May to 3rd June and recognises two important milestones in Australia’s reconciliation journey, the 1967 Referendum and the High Court Mabo Decision.
The 2026 theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility and encourages all Australians to take action in building respectful relationships and inclusive communities.
Throughout the upcoming, students will listen, learn, reflect, and take positive action within our community. On Friday 29th of May, Year Three to Six students will gather at assembly to acknowledge National Sorry Day and share their learning.
We also look forward to coming together as a whole school community on Friday 5th of June for a special assembly celebrating reconciliation and students learning.
Kind Regards,
The ENPS Community Engagement and Cultural Inclusion Team and Marrung Champions
