Year Six

Buckley Park College STEAM Excursion
In Weeks Three and Four, Year Six students had the fantastic opportunity to visit Buckley Park College and take part in a range of engaging STEAM activities.
Students designed, built and tested balloon-powered cars to explore potential and kinetic energy, applying their understanding of force and motion through hands-on learning. They worked collaboratively to improve their designs and problem solve as they tested how far and fast their cars could travel.
It was especially exciting for students to work alongside former ENPS students, who helped run the activities and supported groups throughout the day. Seeing familiar faces in a secondary school setting helped students feel confident and excited about their future transition to high school.
The excursion was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience secondary school learning environments while developing their creativity, teamwork and critical thinking skills.
