Grade Three students are busy exploring time in Numeracy, learning to recognise and use the relationship between days, hours, minutes, and seconds to estimate and compare durations. They are also practising how to read and interpret time on both analogue and digital clocks to the nearest minute.
In Reading, students are learning how to critique a text by thinking deeply about an author’s purpose and message.
Our Inquiry unit focuses on Australia’s states and major cities, while in Writing, students are editing and publishing their procedural texts to share their step-by-step instructions clearly and creatively.
