This week in PE, Grade One students began a new unit called Tabloid Sports. In this unit, students are given opportunities to play fairly with others and to practise scoring fairly by sharing, taking turns, and showing good sportsmanship.
During the first week, students rotated through a variety of activity stations where they practised their throwing and kicking skills in cooperative games. These activities helped students further develop their fundamental motor skills while having fun and learning the importance of fairness and teamwork.
