STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

This week in Year 6, students have explored probability in Maths, navigating how to predict the likelihood of different outcomes. In Reading, they are refining their summarising skills, learning to identify key ideas and capture the essence of a text in just a few sentences. Meanwhile, students are putting the finishing touches on their explanation texts in writing, focusing on peer editing and revising. They have been writing about a chosen key event in Australia’s history, showcasing their understanding and ability to engage and explain to their readers. Grade 6 are also finalising decisions for their graduation coming up at the end of term, and are getting excited as the end of term gets closer. It’s been a productive and exciting week of learning!
