Aleia makes a splash!

During the week of 27th July- 31st July Aleia Retamal in year 6 represented BNPS as a National Team VIC member for the SSV diving team at MSAC. She competed in 4 events across the week. Mixed state synchronised, knockout, solo springboard and mixed Vic synchronised. She was in a group of 15 12 year old girls from across Australia and NZ. Although she didn’t place per se, she is very new to the sport of diving and the experience of jumping off a 6m diving board to enter the 

water head first shows amazing grit, confidence and maturity to push through her nerves and nail the dives. 

Aleia also had the opportunity to do some live commentary of the diving which meant she had to learn terminology for the sport and also speak with clear and concise vocabulary, as well as have lots of fun with it too. Aleia also had the opportunity to tour the MCG as part of the team making many new friends along the way.  

Your mum is super proud and BNPS is too!!!

Olivia and Eloise take on the slopes!

Here are some great shots of Olivia Tetley 3B and Eloise Marshall 3A who competed in interschools sport skiing today at Mount Buller. Both girls were representing BNPS with Olivia finishing 116th and Eloise finishing 97th out of 160 girls from all across Victoria. A wonderful experience for both of the girls and lucky to be able to enjoy the sunshine in the snow.
