Staff Interview with Kerryn

Staff Interview -
How long have you worked at BNPS?
I have been at BNPS 12 wonderful years.
What inspired you to work at our school?
I was inspired by the challenge of keeping our school organised, coordinating students, teachers, parents, excursions and many bandaids and lost lunch boxes, making everyday a choose your own adventure.
If you weren't an admin officer, what career would have you pursued?
My dream when I was little Kerryn was to be a a composer of music or an author. Later in life my pathways changed, and I had aspirations to be a social worker. My current role and BNPS seems to have fulfilled this dream.
What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?
When I'm not chasing my two adorable pooches, I love catching up with friends, spending time with family and eating out at the latest and greatest eateries around Melbourne.
If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go?
Sicily is next on my dream list, although Japan has requested my presence first. Sayonara!
What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?
In my early 20s, I back packed through Europe for 3 months with friends. One incident I still remember to this day, was in Istanbul market. I was bartering over the cost of a handbag, and the stall holder was obviously offended because he came around, grabbed me by my collar and tossed me out of the markets.
What recently made you smile?
When the Story Dog arrived at the front office and I met the adorable Posie. She even had her fur in pigtails. Divine! And of course the Preppies when they come to the office to show us their work!
