From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope the final weeks of term have gone well for you and your family.
There have been many activities related to school over the last several weeks, and I am sure you are looking forward to a change of routine over the holidays.
2027 School Fees and Dates
In the last newsletter, I included the 2027 dates, and we are intending to get communication out on the 2027 school fees by the end of term. We hope both of these are helpful for your future planning.
2026 NAPLAN Data
Our 2026 NAPLAN results have been released, and the results show that a significant majority of our students are showing strong proficiency in all areas. There is still more analysis to be completed, but the overall narrative is that the College is in the ‘strong’ band in all year levels, in all areas. I will provide further analysis of the data next term.
Prayer for our Indonesia Trip
Please pray for our students and staff as they are on a LOTE trip to Indonesia. They left on Sunday 13th September and will be returning on Friday 25th.
I have recently been encouraged by the words of 1 Corinthians 3:6-7;
"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything,
but only God, who makes things grow."
I am reminded that our role is to be faithful with the gifts, time and energy God has given us. Bayside Christian College has always been God's idea, and He will continue to be faithful in growing and sustaining His work. As I reflect on this term, I am encouraged by the many signs that our community continues to flourish, and I remain grateful for God's provision and guidance as we look to the future.
I pray that you have a refreshing break over the school holidays.
Warm regards,
Stephan Munyard
Principal
