Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Achievement

Congratulations to Breannah Batson-Burgess who recently received her Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award at a special ceremony held at Government House. This prestigious achievement recognizes her outstanding dedication, resilience and commitment to personal growth over an extended period of time at Lalor Secondary College and in her own time.
To achieve the Gold Award, Breannah successfully completed a range of challenging activities, including volunteering in the community, developing new skills, participating in regular physical recreation and completing an adventurous journey. She also demonstrated independence, perseverance and leadership while working towards her goals.
Receiving the Gold Award is a significant accomplishment and reflects the time, effort and determination Breannah demonstrated throughout the program. Her participation has provided valuable opportunities to build confidence, develop important life skills and make a positive contribution to her community.
The special ceremony at Government House was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate her achievements and recognize the hard work she has put into completing the Award.
