2026 College Captains

And just like that, Term 3 has come to an end!It has definitely been a busy few weeks around the school, with plenty happening both inside and outside the classroom. From athletics and house events to Year 12 celebrations, it has been a term full of memories as we head into the final stretch of the year. One of the highlights was Division Athletics, where students had the opportunity to represent the school and compete against other schools in a range of events. 

It was great seeing students getting involved, supporting each other and representing our school with pride. We also had our Year 12 dress-up day, where students came dressed as either their future careers or childhood characters. There were some very creative costumes, and it was definitely a nice change from the usual school routine. With graduation getting closer, days like these are becoming even more special as we make the most of our final year together.

For our Year 12 students, Term 3 also marked the beginning of a very important part of the year: practice exams. After a year filled with SACs, coursework, deadlines and everything else that comes with Year 12, it can be strange to finally see the end getting closer. Practice exams are a chance to see where we are at, work out what needs more attention and prepare ourselves for the final exams. As we finish Term 3, we want to thank everyone who has continued to get involved in school events and support one another throughout the term. There is still plenty to look forward to in Term 4, and we hope everyone comes back ready to finish the year strong.

To our Year 12s, we’re almost there. Keep going and make the most of these final weeks,  they’ll go by quicker than we think.

Cyber Bullying Workshops

On Thursday the 3rd of September, 16 of our student leaders visited CEPS next door to deliver Cyber Bullying Workshops. Our student leaders worked in teams of 4 to design the workshops and deliver them to 14 Grade 4 & 5 classes over the day reaching 340 students in total (the entire cohort). 

The program has been huge success for with overwhelmingly positive feedback from the students and teachers from the Primary School. Our leaders have already been extended an invitation to run workshops next year to the new Grade 4 cohort. This marks another milestone in our ongoing collaborative relationship with the CEPS that supports our community and transition into Secondary Education.
