Year 7 Camp

Last week our Year 7 students enjoyed their camp at Grampians Retreat in Dunkeld. Throughout the camp, we took on exciting activities like mountain biking, the giant swing, and the flying fox. We also tested our skills in archery and the ropes course.

By the time we returned to school, we were truly exhausted but filled with great memories. A huge thank you to all the Year 7 students—both those at camp and those who participated in activities at school—for stepping outside their comfort zones and embracing new challenges. Your enthusiasm made it a fantastic experience!

Year 7 – Term 1 Wrap-Up

Congratulations to our Year 7 students on a successful first term at Horsham College! It has been a busy and exciting time, and they have adjusted well after the transition from primary school.

We hope everyone enjoys the upcoming break and returns refreshed and ready for Term 2. A reminder that the first day of Term 2 is Monday, 20th April. See you then!

Class Spotlight – 7F – Product Design and Technologies

7F have been learning how to research and investigate designs for their pot stands. This has allowed them to design options and commence production of their pot stands. 

Students have been working hard to produce a cross-halving join for the base of their stands. The results are looking incredible!
