Year 12 News

As we reach the final week of Term 1, it’s important to take a moment to recognise the effort, resilience and commitment you’ve shown so far. The beginning of Year 12 is always a significant transition and you’ve had to navigate new expectations, workloads and responsibilities.

This final week is a valuable opportunity to reflect on your progress. Consider what has worked well in your study habits and where there may be room for improvement. Use this time to complete any outstanding tasks, consolidate your understanding of key concepts and seek clarification from your teachers if needed. Finishing the term in a strong and organised way will set you up for a confident start to Term 2.

The upcoming holiday break is also important. While it’s essential to rest and recharge after a busy term, maintaining some light engagement with your studies such as revising notes, reading ahead or working on practice questions can make a big difference. Finding a balance between relaxation and preparation will help you return feeling both refreshed and ready.

Most importantly, take pride in how far you’ve come already. Year 12 is a marathon, not a sprint, and every step forward counts. We’re proud of your efforts and look forward to seeing you continue to grow and succeed on your return in Term 2.
