Our Year 8 students have been showcasing their creativity and craftsmanship by designing and building their own small wooden tables before adding a personalised touch through wood burning. Students carefully used wood-burning tools to create intricate patterns, meaningful designs, and unique artwork, transforming their projects into one-of-a-kind pieces. It was wonderful to see the pride students took in their work as they combined practical woodworking skills with artistic expression to produce such impressive finished products.

Our Year 8 students have been developing their skills in Metals by designing and creating their own candle holders. Throughout the project, students learned how to safely shape, cut, and assemble metal, applying precision and patience to bring their designs to life. The finished candle holders showcased both creativity and craftsmanship, with each piece reflecting the individuality and effort of its maker. It was fantastic to see students take pride in producing such practical and impressive metalwork projects.

Our Year 8 students recently attended a Sexual Health Assembly, where they explored topics including respectful relationships, personal wellbeing, and making informed choices. The session provided students with valuable age-appropriate information and encouraged open, respectful discussions in a safe learning environment.

Our Year 8 High Achievers were recently invited to a special celebration in recognition of their outstanding effort, commitment and positive approach to learning throughout the semester.
Students enjoyed a pizza lunch together while reflecting on their achievements and listening to speeches acknowledging their hard work, perseverance and dedication. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the students who consistently strive to do their best and make the most of every learning opportunity.
Congratulations to all of our Year 8 High Achievers. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future!

Well done, Macy and Summa, on your fantastic achievement!

We are proud to recognise a group of students who have consistently demonstrated our school values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience throughout the Semester. Their positive attitudes, commitment to learning, and willingness to make a difference in our school community have not gone unnoticed.
