45km Annual Charity Walk to Bungawarra 2025: Registrations Open Week 5

The largest charity fundraising event on the BMGS calendar is back in 2025!

Registrations for the 45km Annual Charity Walk to Bungawarra 2025 open next week, Friday 22nd August. The event is open to Senior School students, staff, parents and alumni. All information, including the TryBooking link for registration, will be available through Schoolbox. 

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, 11th October (the final weekend of the October school holidays). 

2025 marks the 31st year of the 45km Annual Charity Walk. This event is a celebration of community, service and our unique Blue Mountains setting.

The 45km Annual Charity Walk is a sponsored walk from Blue Mountains Grammar, Wentworth Falls to Bungawarra, Little Hartley. Once registered, participants are encouraged to begin collecting sponsors to support their endeavour. 

All funds raised from this year’s event will be in aid of Compassion Australia, the Ibulanku School Project Uganda and Greystanes Disability Services.

The 45km Annual Charity Walk only happens through the generous support of staff, parents and caregivers. Please consider if you are able to volunteer on the day, the event requires a small army of volunteers! Volunteer sign-up will also take place through the Schoolbox platform. 

Event numbers are capped at 250 participants, so get in early to secure your place!
