A big thank you to all the dads and special people who joined us for our Father's Day Picnic and Race. It was great to see so many smiling faces and some friendly competition! We enjoyed sharing this special afternoon with you and hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day on Sunday.
Year 3
We are continuing to read our text, The Iron Man and the students have been enjoying learning and writing about all things Iron!
For Maths for the next two weeks we will be focusing on angles, before moving on to another time unit.
The students have been busy preparing for their Sacrament of Reconciliation next Friday. We will be presenting prayer at assembly that morning and welcome all our parents and guests to come along.
Year 4
In Literacy, students have continued reading Storm Boy. They are writing an information report on the Coorong – what it is and where it is located, the cultural significance and flora and fauna that are found there.
In Math’s, we have started our decimals unit, which is where the students are learning to partition numbers up to two decimal places and apply numbers to two decimal places for measurement of length, mass and capacity.
In Geography, students have started learning about the major geographical divisions of the world.
