National eSmart Week

This week is National eSmart Week. This is an annual event run by eSmart, Australia’s trusted provider of online-safety education and an initiative of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. It is a celebration of all the great work of schools and libraries nationwide to help students stay safe, smart and responsible online.

Yesterday, Foundation to Year 4 students participated in a Storytime Session run by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. This engaging session supported students in developing respectful, responsible and safe digital behaviours. The featured book, Paws, highlighted the importance of asking for consent before taking and sharing photos of others online, sparking thoughtful discussions among students.
