Music Magic at Armidale Secondary College,  Ben Venue School Hall and the Sydney Opera House

What an incredible time we had recently at the Armidale Community of Schools (ACOS) Concert at ASC! Ben Venue Junior and Senior Choir students, Aboriginal dancers and Orchestra members as well as S3P all performed in the huge conglomeration of public schools in our area to present a wonderful showcase of singing, dancing, acting, playing and choral speaking.

I would like to personally thank all students and parents who were involved as well as teachers who gave up their own time to escort and supervise our groups. I am proud to say that Ben Venue had 160 students involved and their enthusiasm and enjoyment was palpable.

For parents who missed this spectacular show, Ben Venue will be presenting our own Creative Arts Showcase on Wednesday 13 September (details to follow) where we will have various student groups performing for you in our school hall.

Coming up in Week 10, our talented Opera House Choir will perform at the Sydney Opera House (final notes and details will be to students this week). 

What a massive term for the Creative Arts! Congratulations everyone!
