Harmony Day

Glenroy College celebrated Harmony Day this year with a range of fun and meaningful activities that showed off the rich mix of cultures in our school. Students enjoyed getting beautiful designs from Henna artists and took part in Cultural Dress Day by wearing traditional outfits that represented their backgrounds. At lunchtime, the courtyard came to life with cultural dances performed by students, bringing lots of colour, energy, and joy to the day.

One of the biggest highlights was the Iftar dinner in the evening, which was attended by over 300 people from our school and local community. It was a special time to come together, enjoy delicious food, and share stories and traditions with one another. Harmony Day at Glenroy College was a great way to celebrate who we are as a school community. It helped us learn more about each other, show respect for different cultures, and build a strong sense of belonging for everyone.

Operation New start

Congratulations to Bailey Edwards and Logan Wilkie on graduating from the Operation New Start program in Term 1. This is a great achievement, and we are proud of the effort and commitment they showed throughout the program.

During their time in the program, Bailey and Logan took part in a range of outdoor and learning activities that helped them build confidence, teamwork, and new skills. They also gained a better understanding of the different pathways they can take in the future. Well done to both students on their success!
