School Wide Positive Behaviours

This Term, we’ve continued to strengthen our work around SWPBS (School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support), which is all about building a safe, respectful and positive learning environment for every student.
We started our new year by introducing our new 6Rs process to support students in staying in class and showing positive behaviours. It’s been fantastic to see how quickly both staff and students have embraced it. In a recent survey, 94% of students said they’ve seen the 6Rs in action in their classes. We’re already seeing the impact, with more students remaining in class and engaging positively in their learning.
We’re also proud to share that over 9,000 Gold Cards were handed out this term! Gold Cards are given to students who are living our school values: Respect, Achievement, Integrity and Teamwork. This incredible number reflects our strong, shared commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Overall, it has been a fantastic start to the school year for SWPBS!
