Starlight Super Swimmers

Three of our All Saints’ College swimmers are diving in for a great cause this month, taking part in the Starlight Super Swim to raise funds for sick kids. Throughout February, Theo Toh (Year 8), Tessa Toh (Year 5), and Isla Steger (Year 6) are challenging themselves to swim set distances, track every lap and make a real difference for families supported by the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

It’s a wonderful example of initiative, commitment and compassion in action — setting personal goals while fundraising to bring joy and support to children who need it most. If you’d like to cheer them on and support their efforts, you can visit their fundraising pages below!

Music Achievements

Congratulations to Vivian Yang (Year 8) who recently attained the AMEB AMusA Diploma in Violin and has also completed the AMEB Grade 5 Music Theory examination.

Vivian will also be participating in the WA Youth Orchestra (WAYO) this year. 

Vivian’s piano and violin teacher is her sister, Vevina Yang (Class of 2022) who is currently studying a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) in Music at the University of Western Australia.

We also congratulate Oriana Zhang (Year 4) who received an A in the grade 5 AMEB Violin exam.

We wish Vivian and Oriana all the best in their future music endeavours!

Joshua’s Taekwondo Success

We celebrate with Joshua Soh (Year 11) who recently travelled to Sydney for selection trials in Taekwondo and came away with an outstanding result, finishing second overall and earning a place in the Australian Team for the World Taekwondo Oceania Championships at the end of March. 

After a year of hard work and focused training, Josh is delighted to be one step closer to representing Australia on the international stage, despite narrowly missing out on selection for the World Junior Championships.
