Our Parent Information Videos for all Senior School families are now live on MyASC.
Each video is presented by the relevant Year Coordinator and features key staff who will be supporting that year group throughout 2026. Together, they cover essential information for the year ahead and outline how we work together to support your child’s progress and success.
There is a dedicated video for each year group as follows:

Welcome to the 2026 school year at All Saints’ College. As we continue our partnership with the University of Melbourne through the Melbourne Metrics Project, and following last year’s exploration of Agency in Learning, this year we turn our focus to another key competency: Quality Thinking. In a rapidly changing world, the ability to think deeply, creatively and responsibly empowers young people to approach new situations with confidence.
At All Saints’ College, student agency remains central to everything we do. When students understand how they think, not just what they think, they become more capable, adaptable and independent learners. Quality Thinking supports students to question, explore, create and reflect as they navigate learning challenges.
You can help strengthen your young person’s thinking habits at home through reflective conversations. Try asking:
“What challenge helped you grow this week?”
These small, consistent questions encourage students to pause, consider their thinking and recognise their growth. Together, we can help young people become thoughtful, curious and confident learners.
MAKING CONTACT ABOUT CURRICULUM MATTERS
The first stop for all inquiries should be with the student’s classroom teacher and then to the relevant Curriculum Leader. A full list of contacts can be found on MyASC.
COURSE CHANGES
Year 11 2026 Course changes
Any request for course selection changes needs to be made as soon as possible, to avoid missing content in the new course. Students will be able to make changes up to the end of Week 3, Term 1 2026. Students should see Mr Shackleton if they would like to explore changes. It is a College requirement that students undertake six courses in Year 11. Students will have the opportunity to review and possibly change courses after the Semester 1 Examinations.
Year 12 2026 Course changes and withdrawals
Any request for course selection changes needs to be made as soon as possible, to avoid missing content in the new course. Please be aware Year 12 students cannot change courses after Week 3, Term 1 2026, and midyear changes are not possible. Students have until the end of Term 2 2026 to withdraw from a complete course, on condition that WACE achievement requirements are met.
NATIONAL ASSESSMENT PROGRAM LITERACY AND NUMERACY (NAPLAN)
Wednesday 11 March – Monday 23 March 2026
NAPLAN is a national assessment, and all Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 students are expected to participate. The tests are designed to provide a summative, nationally comparable understanding of student performance in Reading, Writing, Language Conventions and Numeracy. No undue emphasis is placed on these tests. They do provide some valuable information to teachers, parents and students. However, those results do not have an impact on their school reports. The assessment work completed throughout the year will be the best indicator of your child’s progress during this time.
Further information can be found on MYASC under Curriculum Information. The schedule of dates is to be confirmed.
For more information about NAPLAN visit nap.edu.au
