Welcome to the Board: Michael Smith

We are pleased to welcome Mr Michael Smith as the newest member of the All Saints’ College Board.

Michael brings more than 20 years’ experience in investment banking, advising some of Australia’s leading companies on complex mergers, acquisitions, divestments and strategic and equity capital markets initiatives across a wide range of industries. He is currently Co-Head of the Perth office at Gresham Partners, a leading independent investment bank.

Before moving into investment banking, Michael began his career as a solicitor at a national law firm, specialising in corporate law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, along with a FINSIA Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.

Michael and his wife Julie have two children who attend All Saints’ College, giving him a strong personal connection to the College community. He is also a board member of his local church, Nations Church, and outside of work is a keen basketballer and coach to his son’s basketball team.

Michael’s deep expertise in governance, strategy and financial markets will be a valuable asset to the Board as the College continues to plan for the future. We warmly welcome him and look forward to his contribution to All Saints’ College.
