Specialist Support Staff Recognition Week

This week was Specialist Support Staff Recognition Week, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and thank our amazing Specialist Staff across the school.

While many of our Specialist Staff are not directly involved in classroom teaching and learning, the work they do every day plays an important role in supporting our students, staff and the smooth operation of our school.

From Admin, IT, Science Techs, School Officers, International Coordinators, Project Officers, Teacher Aides and all other support roles, every person contributes to making The Gap State High School the great place it is.

Thank you for the dedication, care and expertise you bring to your roles. Much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but it makes a genuine difference to our school community and we simply could not operate without you.

I encourage everyone to take a moment this week to recognise a member of our Specialist Staff team who has made a difference. A quick thank you, kind message or small gesture of appreciation is a great way to acknowledge the important work they do.
