Hello and welcome to this fortnight's edition of our school newsletter. 

As always, an incredibly busy fortnight.

Just this week, we had 160 students undertake the incredible epic journey of writing a book in a day. It's mindblowingly amazing when you go into the room and see 160 students with their heads down thinking and planning and writing and editing and so excited to be part of a team that writes a book in a day. 

Well, this year we also had the luxury of having Channel 7 pop in to capture some of the news about that event of writing that book in a day. So, be sure to look out for Channel 7 News over the coming weeks for the story about those amazing students. 

So, congratulations to all of them and the amazing Mel Bowe and all the other support staff and teachers that helped them go from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 at night writing their book.

Also, this week I spent a great day planning with my senior leadership team.

I take all of the senior leaders off site for the day and we spent a really productive, amazing day planning, starting to plan and think about what 2027 looks like. 

I know you're thinking you're only halfway through 2026, but that's school life for us.

We're already thinking about next year and how we can make this great 

school even better.
