Blazers

New Uniform item: Blazers! 

TGSHS would like to offer Blazers for all students (Years 7-12) to wear as an option as part of the school uniform.  A recent survey inviting expressions of interest has indicated that expanding this item to all students and opening sales for this uniform item is warranted. 

The Blazers will be organized by the TGSHS P&C Association Uniform Shop.  This item won't be stocked instore at the Uniform Shop at this stage.  Instead, orders can be placed via the P&C Uniform Shop webstore during the following ordering window period:  5-19 August 2026.  

At the end of the ordering window, a bulk order will be placed with the supplier, and a production cycle of approx. 14 weeks will apply.   Delivery to the uniform shop is expected late Nov/early December.  Customers with orders will be notified via email when their order is fulfilled, and their item(s) is available for collection. 

The Uniform Shop has a size range in store for interested students to try on during opening hours.  Additional opportunities for fittings will also be available during 1st & 2nd breaks from 5-19 August.  A size chart is also available in the Blazer section of the webstore to assist with determining your size.

Regular ordering windows will be scheduled for the future and are expected to occur every 6 months.  New ordering windows will be listed in the Blazer description section of the webstore once they are finalized and will be communicated via normal school channels.

Senior Jersey

If you or your child is eligible to purchase a 2027 senior jersey - the first round of orders will cut off on Friday 21 August 2026.

Please note the following information for ordering a 2027 senior jersey.

• Students will only have the option of a surname, first name or a shortened name (No nicknames) printed on the back of the jersey. The names must be approved by Administration (Principal or Deputy Principal)
• All lettering on the back will be in Capital letters
• The 2027 jersey can be worn on school days by Year 12 students and during exam blocks
• The correct school uniform (sports or formal) must be worn under the jersey. If students do not meet this expectation, they will be loaned the missing uniform item, or parents/ carers will be contacted to deliver one to the school
• Ties need to be worn under jerseys (when wearing formal uniform), in Terms 2 and 3
• The jersey is not a part of the official school uniform and therefore is a privilege to wear
• The cost of the jersey is $97.50
• If payment is not made by Friday 21 August 2026, there will be no order made for your jersey

Payment for the 2027 senior jersey can be made through one of the following methods:

Job Opportunity

The Gap SHS P&C are looking for 1 or 2 part-time employees.

Uniform Shop: 1-2 Mornings per week for 2-3 hours (7am start) 

AND/OR

Tuckshop: Wednesdays, school hours (8.30am-1.30pm)

These jobs are paid positions and during term time only.

Opportunities also exist for extra work: Late Nov/Early Dec & late January for Uniform Shop).

Conditions of employment will be as per the Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State 2016.
